Hopeful Hearts Rescue has brought to our
attention these two BT's who have recently come into
their care and are currently being offer for
adoption to a forever home.
The BTCC wishes to thank Roz and Hopeful Hearts
rescue for taking ownership, rehabilitating and
caring for Phoebe and AK.
Phoebe
Phoebe is a 2-3 year old English Bull Terrier with a very loving temperament
despite a rough start in life. Phoebe is a fun, energetic, and spunky girl but
will settle quickly with a nice massage on her side or a belly rub! Oh how she
loves her belly rubs! She had no training when taken into Hopeful Hearts Rescue
and has progressed quite nicely, she walks well on leash, is house trained, and
has been working on basic commands such as sit, down, off and take it, as well
as collar restraints as she can be a little uncomfortable with people reaching
for her collar. She is crate trained and behaves very well when crated with or
without a bone or chew toy. Phoebe takes direction very well and wants nothing
more then to be with you everywhere you go, she aims to please. Phoebe will be
best suited as the only dog in the house, no cats and no kids please! Basic
Obedience classes are also a must to keep up with her on-going training. Phoebe
has all of her vaccinations and is scheduled for her spay in January. If you are interested in this wonderful

A.K.
A.K. is a gorgeous english bull terrier
that was taken in by Hopeful Hearts in the recent
Montreal puppy mill busts. This dog has had no semblance
at all of a normal life but with patience and training,
will be a wonderful dog. We are looking for breed
experienced owners for this boy as he is powerful and
has very few social skills. Saying that, his temperment
appears to be quite good, he just gets 'aroused' really
easily and has difficulty containing his glee! (Wouldn't
you if you'd lived in a cage for 4-5 years?) A.K. is
being neutered shortly and will not be released to an
adoptive home until this surgery is complete and he has
